The draw ceremony for the final rounds of the National Football Championship for the 76th Hero Santosh Trophy took place at the Federation’s headquarters, the Football House, on Thursday, January 19, 2023. The draw, part of the revamped format for the prestigious tournament, was conducted in the presence of Secretary General Dr Shaji Prabhakaran. The final rounds will be played in Odisha from February 10-20, 2023. Odisha FC announces its flagship ‘Junior Juggernauts’ program, catered to the Under-13 age category of football enthusiasts in the state.  The initiative is being realized with the support of the Department of Sports & Youth Services, the Government of Odisha, and OFC Grassroots Partners, Reliance Foundation. Under the ‘Junior Juggernauts’ program, the club will look to engage kids from their earliest years up to the age of 13 in exciting and educational activities around football. Odisha FC will begin its selection process for the OFC Men’s Reserve team starting at Jharsuguda on 30th April and 1st May 2022. OFC Coaches will conduct the two-day trials for players born on and after 1st January 2000 and before 31st December 2005.    The venue of the trials will be the Mini Stadium, O.S.A.P 2nd Battalion at Jharsuguda, with the support of the Jharsuguda District Athletics Association and the Football Association of Odisha (FAO). Other than players in Jharsuguda, the club expects to scout talent from neighboring districts of Sundergarh, Bargarh, Deogarh and Sambalpur, Balangir, and Subarnapur. Players traveling from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and other eastern districts will not be eligible for trials at Jharsuguda, as the club will hold trials at Bhubaneswar / Cuttack in another selection camp at a slightly later date.   The trials are a precursor to the formation of the OFC Men’s Reserve team.
