Kerala Blasters FC has extended the contract of Croatian defender Marko Lešković

  Kerala Blasters FC is happy to announce the contract extension of Croatian defender Marko LeÅ¡ković. The extension means Marko will be at the club until 2024. He joined Kerala Blasters from GNK Dinamo Zagreb (Dinamo Zagreb) last season. The 31-year-old started his professional career in 2009 with the youth team of NK Osijek. He made his first-team debut in 2011, and went on to make 56 appearances for the Croatian first division club. He scored 5 goals during this time. In 2013, he was transferred to HNK Rijeka on a four-year contract. Leskovic made 41 appearances for the club and in July 2016, he was transferred to Dinamo Zagreb. Prior to signing with the Blasters in 2021, Leskovic spent 6 months at NK Lokomotiva on loan from Dinamo Zagreb. Last season, he made 21 appearances for the Blasters, registering 38 tackles and 37 interceptions in his maiden Hero Indian Super League. Bengaluru FC started their ISL 2021-22 campaign in style as they got the better of NorthEast United 4-2 on Saturday, at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, Goa. The majority of the action happened in the first half of the match, where as many as five goals were scored by both teams. Bengaluru FC began their Hero Indian Super League (ISL) 2021-22 season with a victory as they pipped last season’s semi-finalists NorthEast United FC 4-2 at the Athletic Stadium in Bambolim, Goa on Saturday. Five out of the six goals came during a frantic first half that saw Bengaluru FC thrice take the lead firstly through Cleiton Silva (14’), then through a Mashoor Shereef own goal (22’) and finally via Jayesh Rane (42’) after NorthEast United had equalised twice thanks to goals from Deshorn Brown (17’) and Mathias Coureur (25’).   ATK Mohun Bagan kick-started their Indian Super League season 8 campaign in style, thumping Kerala Blasters 4-2 on matchday 1. ATKMB hit the ground running from the very off, and scored their first goal of the night on 3 minutes. Hugo Boumous' cross turned shot beat Albino Gomes, who had anticipated Roy Krishna connecting it and was left flat-footed when he did not. Kerala Blasters restored parity on 24 minutes as Sahal Abdul Samad chested down Rahul KP's cross and struck it past Amrinder Singh to level the scoreline. Blasters' relief, though, was short-lived, as Roy Krishna converted the penalty that was awarded after goalkeeper Gomes brought him down inside the box on 27 minutes. Boumous doubled his tally and ATKMB's lead on 39 minutes, outmuscling Bijoy Varghese before sending the ball through the legs of Gomes into the Blasters net.   The second pre-season friendly match between Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC is played today 12/11/2021. Blasters were dominating in the first half.  In the 18th minute Adrián Luna assisted Pereyra Diaz to score the first goal Kerala Blasters. During the first half break score remains 1:0. In the second half Komal Thatal scored the equalizer goal for Jamshedpur FC. Including todays match total 12 Friendly matches are played by Kerala blasters in 2021. Jamshedpur FC thrashed Kerala Blasters FC by 3:0 in a pre-season friendly match

  Ahead of the Indian Super League, Jamshedpur FC thrashed Kerala Blasters FC by 3:0 in a pre-season friendly match held today. It was dominating performance by Jamshedpur FC as three goals where scored in the first half. For Jamshedpur FC Boris scored twice 18' and 30' Boris. Later in the 33 minute Valskis scored the 3rd goal for Jamshedpur FC. Last week  friendly  match between  Jamshedpur FC and Mumbai City FC  has been abandoned due to heavy rainfall. Before that Jamshedpur FC has managed to a 1:1 draw against Bengaluru FC. Kerala Blasters FC will play one more friendly match against Jamshedpur FC later this week. In the last friendly match Kerala Blasters beat Odisha FC by 2:1 .

Kerala Blasters signed Argentina striker Jorge Pereyra Diaz

Kerala Blasters have officially announced the signing of the Argentine striker Jorge Pereyra Diaz, ahead of the upcoming Hero Indian Super League season. The Argentine striker will be leading the line for Ivan Vukomanovic's men in the upcoming season.   The Argentine marksman has had the experience of playing the in the top division of South American countries like Argentina, Chile, and Bolivia. He has also played for Asian clubs like the Malaysian team Johor Darul Takzim. Pereyra Díaz signed a three-year contract with Malaysia Super League team Johor Darul Takzim in May 2014. The transfer fee was rumored to be 2 million USD.   After his stint with Asia, he returned to South America to play for Independiente. After Independiente, he moved to Club Leon in Mexico, before returning to JDT for a short stint. Pereyra becomes the third foreign signing for the Blasters, after Enes Sipovic, and Adrian Luna.      Jamshedpur FC continued their swift and keen movement in the transfer window as the club completed the signing of PC Laldinpuia. Also fondly called Dinpuia, the defender comes to Jamshedpur FC on a 3-year deal after a vigorous Hero I-League campaign with Aizawl FC. After putting pen to paper, Dinpuia said, "I am so glad to be here. Playing in the top league of India one day was my dream and it has finally come true. Kerala Blasters Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala.  Kerala Blasters FC  was established on 24 May 2014 and began their first professional season a few months later in October 2014. The team name comes from one of their owners, former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Inaugural season The club played their first ever match on 13 October 2014 against NorthEast United at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium by losing 1–0. In the final of Indian Super League Kerala Blasters was defeated 1–0 by Atlético de Kolkata. 2015 season Fortunes failed to change for the Kerala Blasters as the club ended their second season in last place, failing to qualify for the Indian Super League finals. 2016 season After failing to qualify for the finals the previous season, the Kerala Blasters announced the signing of former Crystal Palace manager Steve Coppell as head coach.
