Kerala Blasters FC has signed four Indian National youth players form Indian U17 and Indian U19 team.

The Blasters will train the four players Kerala’s Hrishidhath, Sikkim’s Suraj Rawat, Uttarakhand’s Deependra Negi and Manipur’s Mohamed Rakip  and try to get them ready for its Indian Super League team in future.

Hrishidhath, a 17-year-old defensive midfielder from Thrissur, has represented India in age-group events from u-14 to u-18 and also the u-14 AFC qualifier and u-18 I-League apart from the Subroto Cup, IFA Shield and the Goa League.

Deependra Negi is the former captain of the Indian U17 team and the midfielder currently playing with CF Reus Deportiu,

Suraj Rawat is a forward who currently plays for the Indian U19 team.

Mohamad Rakip had also played in the India U17 team previously. The latter plays at the centre-back position. By signing players from different positions their aim is clear. To have a strong side for the long-term future with. This shall also give the starlets the right exposure at the early stage of their careers.

After the defect against FC Goa, Kerala Blasters has 14 games after this in the tournament that will last until March 2018 and we might be able to see the 4 young stars signed in a few of them.
