ATK beat Dubai Irish FC in the preseason friendly match
Dubai: The ISL champions
beat the Dubai Irish FC in the preseason friendly match yesterday. In the 8th
minute Bipin Singh Thounaojam scored for ATK. Later in the 38th minute Joe
Terry scored the equalizer for Dubai IFC.
In the half time score
remain the same. Rupert Nongrum scored the winning goal for the ATK in the 56th
minute.
ATK started the
preseason training in Dubai on second week of October. They will play few more
friendly games in UAE in order to ensure that the team gets the best possible
match practice ahead of the competition.
The club has roped in
former Tottenham and Liverpool striker Robbie Keane as their marquee signing.
Amongst the Indian players, they have retained Debjit Majumder and Prabir Das
and in the draft, they have picked up the likes of Eugeneson Lyngdoh, Robin
Singh, Ashutosh Mehta and Jayesh Rane among the prominent names.
