Delhi Dynamos has signed Brazilian mid-fielder
Paulinho Dias. The 29-year-old comes with experience playing for various clubs
in Brazil.
Delhi Dynamos FC have announced the signing of
their first foreign player for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League
(ISL). The club has secured the signature of Brazilian defensive midfielder
Paulinho Dias.
Paulinho is a graduate of the Cruzerio Academy
back in Brazil and has gone on to have stints at the likes of Ipatinga,
Marilia, Joinville, Guaratingueta and Veranopolis subsequently.
“I'm very excited to welcome Paulinho to the
club! This is a player, coach Portugal immediately identified when he came
aboard and I'm sure he can be a defensive anchor in our midfield. He will make
his mark in the ISL like the other Atletico Paranaense players who came before
him!,” Delhi Dynamos Director Rohan Sharma said in a press release.
