C.K. Vineeth (Chekiyot
Kizhakkeveettil Vineeth) is an Indian professional footballer who currently
plays as a winger or striker for Bengaluru FC in the I-League. He born at Kannur
District of Kerala on 20 May 1988.
He made his debut for Chirag
United Kerala in the I-League during the 2010–11 season. Later he played for
Chennai Customs and Kerala State Electricity Board(KSEB).
From 2012 - 2014 He
played for Prayag United in the I-League. From there Bengaluru Fc signed him on
30 January 2014. After seen his impressive half season Bengaluru extended his
contract for 2 years and which is going to end by 2016-17.
In July 2015 Vineeth was
drafted to play for Kerala Blasters FC in the 2015 Indian Super League. And
that year he couldn’t score for Blasters in 9 appearances. And second season he
done a fantastic come back and he scored some crutual goals for Blasters to
reach finals of ISL. he was the leading Indian scorer of ISL 2016. Vineeth
continued the same form for Bengaluru FC in I-league 2017 where he scored 7
goals.
Vineeth made his
international debut for India on 6 February 2013 against Palestine in an
international friendly. Even though he is good form, Vineeth is still waiting
for his first goal for the National team. Hopefully it will come soon.
